Not really... but doesn't really fetch more $$
I just like the sub dial arrangments for it plus the unique placement of the date window. Don't forget as well that these babies can have the chrono pushers used under water!

Phil, I like your SMP Chrono better than the newest version I have. Your overall lum must be fantastic as well as the sword hands instead of my skeleton hands. Standard Chono meter setup instead of vertical alignment of the meters like in mine is better too. Enjoy your watch!

Arby, they've really done a good job on the new blue dial SMP. I like the applied logo as opposed to the painted one.

Phil, do you have that bad boy all cleaned up now? I'd love to see photos of the solution after cleaning. If you haven't, try cleaning with 1 part sudsing ammonia or Windex to 2-3 parts warm water, brush with toothbrush, rinse and be amazed by the difference!

David, I did finally give it the once over with a toothbrush but no solutions, just good ole toothpaste. It cleaned up a treat, just needs a light machine polish by the service dept to take out a few small scratches on the bracelet, not that they really bother me. |

Congrats on the Seamaster Chrono. That's a sweet watch. I've had a non-chrono SMP for about 5 years and love it. Great pieces.
