I can see if the 44mm rubber strap would fit yours tomorrow.

Here's the back pic, as crappy quality as the others.
Please do show it off some more when you get a chance though.

Very nice - I hate to think how much the rose gold price decrease has affected you

That would be great please. Although I want to keep the clasp rather than go to a tang and I've been told the 44mm is tang only. That said I'd reasonably experiment with many options.

What price decrease? Just kidding. If I'm affected so be it, although I was told that I'm not. I'm sure I'll be affected by the inevitable future price rises too. Swings and roundabouts to me as its the only one I have, other than my wife's, and I''ll be wearing this when they bury me, so I personally don't worry about the ups and downs at all. Although I'm sympathetic to those that are affected. Mine isn't an investment, its a watch and it will suffer the day to day consequences of use, hence looking for a more practical strap.

If memory serves me correct, The deployment on your watch has the same wide holes on the strap.

Otherwise i will see what options there's left.

That would be great, I'm open to ideas. I do like rubber straps though, my only other watch is a Breitling Emergency on rubber and I love it.
I do appreciate the help, thanks so much.

Dooh!

In that case the 44mm Ofshore straps wouldn't work unless you get a tag buckle.

I was taught a long time ago not to measure the merits of anything based on price alone. To me this is the one and only AP that meets all of my personal tastes. I have a friend who who has a huge collection with many of far greater price but of no greater value to me. Each to his own as they say and price doesn't come into that equation.

I remember my first digital watch as a kid, when digital was brand new, the feeling and love for that watch is the same as I have now as an adult with this, just in different circumstances.

I love the AP brand and have wanted one for ages, but never made the effort. It was my friend who gave me the push and I was going to buy a 44mm initially which I would have loved just as much but the aesthetics of the one I have just took me in a different direction. As I said earlier, my only other watch is a Breitling Emergency on rubber with a coral dial. So far removed from a refined AP as you can get, but tastes are personal.....

Thanks for the comments and the help.

You are unfazed about the price alignment, and you treat your AP of such magnitude as a daily watch... I admire your attitude, Sir!

Not to show off... but we certainly hope to see more often pictures of your beloved AP in daily actions.

If I let it sit in a safe then to me it would have been a complete waste of money. I'm going to wear it daily and my Emergency will fill in the gaps when I know I'm going to do something a bit hazardous. I'm not going to treat it badly at all but I will wear it every day that I possibly can.

I will try to take a few pics in better light and will post them as I can.

Thanks.
