When I read your transaction was with David, I smiled.

Lots of great sellers here. Tony and Patrick just to name two of the best.

For me, David is my go to guy. You should feel nothing but confident.

Enjoy the wait.

I emailed both of them, as well as Oscar and one or two others.

It just worked out with David.

There ended up being a fairly sizable group I was willing to work with, David was just able to put the deal together first. This was in no way a vote with my money against anyone else.

So grateful I found this forum a couple months ago. I will probably purchase a forum membership now once the dust settles from this transaction as a thank you for the money I saved.

It's been said before and it WILL be said many times again. David is an amazing guy to deal with. I got my Safari and my Daytona from him. One of these days, I will have to buy a non Chronograph from him.

I hope your new watch is everything you ever wanted...until your next one. HEEHEE!

Update, it's on the way. Here is a picture of the watch David took prior to shipping. I'll get wrist shots tomorrow when it shows up after my wife opens it.

I was referred to David SW by a friend of mine who also made purchase from David. David seem like a very reputable Rolex seller but just not an authorized dealer. I would like to know if anyone tried to verify the authenticity of the watches purchased from David. If you had to adjust the watch bracelet, did you have to pay extra for a local rolex dealer to do that? Any issues sending it in to Rolex for service?

This is my first transaction with David, but based on this purchase and all the positive feedback in the who's who section I don't think you could go wrong with him.

The watch seems authentic and I have no reason to assume otherwise. I have a warranty card with my wife's name on it, there is no doubt in my mind it would be honored by rolex.

I'm about to purchase one more watch and then will have an appraisal done, if I have any unexpected issues arise I will report back.

If you are dealing with DavidSW, then no worries. DavidSW is a respected seller here on the forum for good reason. I have done business with DavidSW and several other trusted sellers here with positive results.

I did something similar, the seller (Rolexroz) told me to only commit to buying/sending the money when I feel 100% sure by checking his feedback/references from various forums .

Once I did that and exchanged a few Emails I sent my money, I got a tracking number 24 hrs later and my parcel was going to arrive at my work place another 24 hrs later .

I told everyone (6 people) in my office that I was expecting a Rolex watch and they all watched me trying to open a well wrapped parcel, then out pop a brand new Submariner 14060M .

Everyone thought I was mad to send a large amount of money to a complete stranger but everything turned out as I hoped it would thanks to the complete strangers from these forums .

Congratulations on pulling the trigger.
