It's ok but they still must be having issues with the red ceramic color or we would have seen it this year.

I like it from the pics but I really have to see it in person to be truly objective.

Yes...it's quite similar to the all black.

Wonder if they will discontinue the latter?

I feel the same way. I am curious to see it in person.
The Day Night is a good nickname for it.

I wonder this as well. The old GMT2s differed only by an easy to change insert - these new ones differ by the dial, 24 hour hand, and ceramic insert. Rolex seems to like streamlining their operations, so the black might go.

exactly.

After all those years I was beginning to think that a multi colored ceramic bezel was impossible.

Love it. Black and blue make much more sense for their intended use (colours of the sky) and are far more understated (which I prefer).

It is certiantly not my cup of tea. I myself was hoping for a true pepsi bezel like most of us were. Oh well at least theres still 1675s availiable.

Maybe this will be a good opportunity to snatch a cheap GMTC in a few months while people get the blue black model.

I wonder how much it'll cost and whether it'll be a premium over the all-black?

I think it looks great. I'm sure that once people begin to handle it, a lot of opinions will change.

Cheers!

I really like this watch. Mainly because I know they have now figured out how to make a multi-colored ceramic bezel. That tells me the Pepsi and Coke are coming!

I think we all can agree that part of the appeal of Rolex and why they remain the big dog and retain value is because they don't change much.

If not a Pepsi then at least a stand alone Coke reminiscent of the Fat Lady. Would replacing the blue with red been too much to ask? Where's the historical significance to this color duo?

People calling it 'Batman' and the 'Bruiser'... I for one am calling it the Chris Brown.

I think we're seeing the first bezel option with more to come. I like it. More subtle

It's growing on me.....

I've been on these forums for years now and today is the day I get some posts in hahaha. I currently own a 1675 and a 16710 (stick) and although I'd love a pepsi I think waiting till next year celebrating the 60th anniversary of the original 6542 GMT Master makes more sense...and if rolex doesn't do it next year I'll probably never own a SS Ceramic GMT Mater II...the 116718 is on my list though...green dial. Sorry for the long post haha. Cheers! SIHH and Basel are always too fun.

I like it. I still wish they would do away with the PCLs though. Sadly, I won't be able to see the Batman in person for a while.

I just love it! Will work well with a dark suit. While the Pepsi may reign supreme on many WIS' preferences, the new blue/black may not appeal to all but it is still a beautiful creation, IMHO.
