Wow... The VC looks beautiful ... I think it pips the AP for looks...., but for the money... I'd get a 15400 silver dial

I hear you Wayne. I know what you mean. I think it's a great complication and best of all... It's an Ap! Gold hand markers, finished movement by AP even though its not theirs etc. The fact that its being discontinued verbs me more. And for me that I am most of the time with a suit and tie I think it's elegant because of the white dial and its size. The 15400 white is beautiful but I have the 15400 in blue, so there's no point going there. Still digesting the idea. I will see me AD on Monday and inspect it carefully. I will post some pics then next to the 15400 white.

Cheers.

Nothing wrong with doing something different. If it sings to you, I say go for it!

So far away so close

Looks beautiful but the function is not the most intuitive. The main dial should be "Local" and the small dial should be "Home". Sadly that's not the case, so if you travel it's a PITA.

Hi all. Quick update. Just left my AD and I can't describe the beauty of the dual time. Wow, just wow. It's a busy dial but the white, black and red Markers just POP! He did not have the white to make a side by side comparison but again he has a 15400 silver and I have the 15400 in blue. No point in getting two 15400. I will consult with the pillow tonight and see what it comes of it tomorrow. Thank you all for your comments and advice. Oh and the fact that its being discontinued songs to me more.

I wouldn't count out the VC duel. Harder to find, but sharp. Of course the singing of AP is quite beautiful in duel time

I love it! Wish it was a 41mm. Also a big fan of the JLC movement.

Thank you Koz. I think it's great to. You wanna know something interesting: I was wearing my 5167 which is 40mm next to the dual time 39 mm it looks smaller! It looks like a 41 mm ! It's a good piece. Still scratching my head.

Love the watch and complication. But I hate how the baton markers get cuts unevenly everywhereeee...

Anndddd... It has a solid caseback, which IMHO sucks. Why hide such a beautiful movement? It's not even a diver's watch or utilitarian watch.

Shade I agree with you 100%. I don't know, they did this with all the ROC as well. Maybe because its not their movement?

That's the only explanation
