It Has To Be White, Easier To Read And Classic.

Have Had Tt Sub With Black Dial And Most Sport Models Eg.sub And Gmt Have Black Dials, Nice To B Different

Bought my first Daytona and Rolex in the early seventies.
Both dials were available then.

Was the question which was the first, black or white?

I agree with what Bo said, but I'd also choose the white for the Daytona. It'd make a nice companion piece for my 116710.

I'd pick white. It has a cleaner look and it's a bit easier to read. It would also contrast my black Sub.

Can't go wrong with either. I'm thinking about getting one and am leaning toward the black but would consider both. I have a white dialed Ball and it looks awesome.
