16170 more comfortable for me at the end of the day:
1. Lighter
2. Twinlock crown doesn't gouge my wrist like the Triplock crown does

Icon14 thanks for all the great responses!

Thank you for all the information and personal thoughts.

It is important to try them on and see which one makes me smile, however, each time at the Rolex AD, I tried on GMTIIC, Sub C, Yachtmaster, Daytona, and at the end I can't figure out which one I like let alone which color or model within each line made me smile...lol

It's hard because one really needs more time to wear the watch and experience it's subtle intricacies...

I'll just have to keep trying them on until they tell me to leave the store...

I have the new BNLR, and it fits me fine. I have a rather small frame.

The classic GMT II is a thing of beauty too. I wish my wife would let me have BOTH.

Today Nivarox is used mainly in the watch/clock industry, but also in other micro-machine industries and in certain types of medical equipment and high presicion surgical instruments. There are several variations of the Nivarox alloy depending upon the intended application. These alloys are stainless steel alloys with high concentrations of Cobalt (42-48%), Nickel (15-25%) and Chromium (16-22%). There are also small amounts of titanium and beryllium. Hairsprings made of this alloy are highly wear-resistant,and they are practically non-magnetic in normal wearing, and non-rusting and possess a low coefficient of thermal expansion.

Nivarox 1 through 5 is a series of grades of hairsprings with number 1 being the best quality. The most commonly encountered Nivarox hairsprings in the watch industry are grades 1 to 3. The alloy is unaffected by heat and normal every day ordinary magnetic fields. There is however, also the Anachron hairspring which is said to be of even higher quality than the Nivarox No 1 grade.Who knows perhaps that the grade that Rolex used over the past 40 odd years. And today if, and its a very big if any watch does get magnetised, its a very simple process to de-magnetise IMHO the paracrom is all about marketing and again IMHO around 90% pure hype.

Old, preferably the 16750 with glossy dial --high beat, hacking movement, modern dial but vintage domed crystal, flat PEPSI bezel, and slimmer Oyster case. The only downside is the inferior bracelet compared to modern.

Oh, and it's tough to find one that hasn't been buffed/polished to death.

Because I'm stupid I've only worn my Pepsi 30 mins since ownership. HOWEVER, I will note that it was pretty light and comfy. I did go from a SD to it and marveled at its lightness. Not saying the SD is heavy, it's PERFECT!!!

I like the TTc bezel and the case/bracelet balance.

I prefer the maxi markers, ezylink bracelet, triplock crown and maxi case on the TTc.

The newer models are the way to go IMO.
Wow...you gotta just love that Pepsi!

I disagree. I tried both on multiple times before buying. The ceramic is beautiful. Much nicer to my eyes than aluminum. The triplock crown is what should have always been on there. Twinlock looks small to me. And the bracelet is more comfortable and adjustable on the go. I love the older models especially the pepsi but the new one wins by a horse length for me.

The older GMT is timeless. The new one is too flashy. Had one and sold it
