As for the RO yes the tapisserie is beautiful, I have one myself, I was only saying the Steelfish blue colour was more stunning than RO blue and actually reminds of tropical seas. New price of the 8500 is £4Kish, new of Steelfish was £2K, used is £3Kish and £1.5Kish, so it is pretty much double the price so the Steelfish is much better value. |

Salty, I am pretty well informed, I only chose BM against breitling due to the amount of $$$$ I can spend on my watch this time. I have gone through 3 different rolex watches, and do appreciate fine watches...I just cannot spend the same money this time than I did on my subs. The last sub I bought is on my avatar, I love it, but am also looking for something in a little lower price range, but yet stylish, sporty, and waterproof.
Beleive me, if I had big money, I would go for a blue dialed AP royal oak, and call it a day ;) I thank you all for your input, it is greatly valued and is helping me make my final decision. Any more comments are welcome ! |

Tricky one.
I own a SuperOcean 17360, great watch, a Rolex Sub, great watch, a Omega Planet Ocean, great watch. I like them all equally but for different reasons. Superocean: It feels like the most sturdy of them, and the all polish makes it a good bling. Submariner: Well, it's a Rolex. Superb build and loads of brand and history. Planet Ocean: Maybe the most stylish and handsome of them, and also very nice build. Don't be surprised, whichever you pick this time, you're likely ending up craving for the next... |

The best advise I can give is this......... If you ever see a post by salty_snack, ignore it, he posts the same worthless crap in the Omega section.
