Both are nice! But if i can only pick one, than it should be Novelty 44.

panda has nicer dial and color. i like the silvery tachymeter at panda.

but the advantage of the 44mm is the chrono pusher is more elegant. the rubber pusher seems to be less elegant.

if i were you, still i choose panda over the 44mm, this is due the dial and color are better

Panda 42 - Arabic numerals have more character for me, size fits more occassions.
