JLC reverso white gold, master moon, or the reserve de marche all are great choices.

What's the service like for JLC? Is it similar to Rolex?

JLC, probably the only watch brand I would consider for gold and leather. Well, maybe VC but not IWC, don't fancy them for some reason. Too macho or something, like its trying too hard.

I love Rolex but I admire IWC creations as well.
I think Rolex/IWC watch line up pretty much covers it.

I'd go with a JLC on a leather strap. You could probably get a master ultra thin in SS and same some cash. Or get it in precious metals for around your 15k mark, give or take a few depending where you look.
