Since some of you can't make it on November 8th, I'm more than happy to meet up the week after.

I'm good Nov. 8th or 9th. I'm ok with wherever. One suggestion was made about visiting the Yorkdale Mall AD. I'm wondering if they would be ok with a mob of Rolex aficionados swarming in on them :) If that's our destination, I would think maybe they would appreciate a telephone call as a heads up perhaps. Perhaps it would be best received if it came from someone who has a good relationship with them. Just a thought.
AcuraTL, I'm good with dinner. The only thing is parking is always an issue for me DT Toronto. Is there a good place that offers free and unencumbered parking? I like the Richmond Hill idea. Nice and central for most. AD and restaurants galore in the immediate area. The AD there is open Mon-Sat 11am - 6pm, something to keep in mind. In summary, I like the dinner and AD idea; if we could incorporate both, that would make for a fun evening.

I'm actually a VIP client at La Difference in Richmond Hill. If anyone wants to go for a private event. I'll call them up and see what they can do for us. The boutique is small so they would probably have to close down the store just for us.

La Difference has EVERYTHING. You just have to ask for it, and they will bring it out to you. Since they are small they don't display everything that they have. Yorkdale parking I'm ok with; I just wanted to avoid DT Toronto.

I have no trouble meeting up next weekend any day. I too would like to avoid downtown but Yorkdale, Richmond Hill, Bayview is fine with me. :-)
I got my watch at the AD in Yorkdale, Susan was the saleswoman who helped me. If we end up going there, I can give her a call about a bunch of Rolex people coming in to try watches. ;-) La Difference closes early don't they? It is a small store. And Acura if you're a VIP there, maybe you should call and ask them if we can come over. LOL |

I'm in for just about any day. North is best for me. La Difference is 5 minutes away. Post wherever it's going to be and I'll try to make it.

I like the La Difference idea. Yorkdale is very busy, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. La Difference, as I mentioned, closes at 6pm both Fri and Sat. Something to keep in mind.
So I think it would boil down to two choices: a. Saturday, November 9th 4:00pm-ish - La Difference, Richmond Hill, then dinner somewhere in the immediate area (there are literally tonnes of restaurants in that immediate area (Alice Fazooli's, Moxie's, The Keg, Boston Pizza, Japanese, Korean BBQ, etc.) or b. Friday, November 8th any time - Yorkdale AD, they close later, then maybe a drink or bite after that in the area. I like the idea of both, for different reasons. But I'll leave it up to the group to come to a decision and I'll attend either one.

Thanks for the suggestion Boywonder.
I'm down for Saturday, November 9th at 4pm. I vote for Moxies. I can't make it to Yorkdale on a Friday night however so I won't be attending. Let's get more votes on the Saturday idea ie. which restaurant. Once its finalized, I'll call up La Difference and ask if they can make it a private event for us. Look forward to your responses. |

I'm down for Saturday, Nov. 9th. Restaurant doesn't matter. I like Alice Fazooli's.

I may have spoken too soon my wife just reminded me of a rotating couples dinner that we have that night. I could probably meet for a short while at the store but I'll have to see.

Sat.9th is good…seems to be the more preferred day. :-) Anywhere for dinner/drink/coffee is fine with me too. That area has a lot of choices..
