Not for me. I have seen one in the wild like the one shown by Chris B and it looks good in person, quite frankly. Too much money for an old watch.

I'm not into gold, but looking at the pictures it sort off grows on me - definetly not for that price !

Not my cup of tea but it does have a nice tropical vibe - would work with a pair of linen pants and straw fedora on some island somewhere. Although, as someone already pointed out, I'd be in fear of breaking that bakelite bezel, and then what?
