Most people see a guy with a rug and say "He has a bad toupee." Have you ever seen a good one

No....'cause there IS no such thing as a good one! They all rank right up there with the comb-overs!

My mom commented a few years ago on my FIL's toupee. I gave her a funny look and asked how she knew FIL had one. She told me that my dad could always spot one.

Well, the problem was that FIL didn't (and still doesn't) have a toupee - it was his natural head of hair! It took some convincing, because she wouldn't believe me! I had a good laugh over that one - so did FIL when I told him!!

Unless... maybe we really have seen a lot of good ones out there and just assumed it was the guy's real, original hair.

I've had this discussion with my grandfather many times. He learned many trades, but being a Barber was his favorite one. It's also the one he continualy worked at the longest.

His stance is that you have to cut the hair around the toupee. I ask him why? Does it grow too? It still looks like sh!t

We go back and forth all the time. He's 87 years old and full of fire

Oh, sorry, Velitsko - I was so into that hair loss discussion I didn't mean to overlook you. Thank you for the good wishes. How was your Valentine's Day?

Actually, there was supposed to be a dozen for me, and a dozen "rosebuds" for the children. But the florist goofed and packaged them all together - so there are 2 little rosebuds each in water in a plastic kiddie cup on the breakfast table (on the vinyl Target Valentines mats).

It's pretty cute!

Better than the finest crystal vases, too!
