One more for the GMT. And personally prefer the black dial over the green.

Gold on the GMT just looks right at home on what is a white collar tool watch. Sort of enhances it as an executive floor tool. At the same time it detracts from the functionality of the Sub as a tool that is apt to get banged around more in it's natural habitat. Therefore just doesn't look quite right to me. While I have to admit I like the WG Sub, I think it is mainly the blue dial and bezel that does it for me and I'd like it even more if it was SS like the LVC.

And the bolder bezel markings just sets off the YG GMT a little nicer than the Sub. I know it shouldn't seem like much but it seems to make a noticeable difference to me.

For the OP, the black dial GMT...

But for you, the WG Sub in a heartbeat!

God no! If you can't get at least 20% off then you should PM trusted sellers here and get comfortable with the them to get this kind of discount.

Thank you Neil. I have finally made a decision between the yg gmt and sub (they are both beautiful) and am ready to buy one. However, I am new to this forum (first posts) and am just worried that I'll pay 28 or 30 for a fake or used one..just a little concerned, that's all..

At a minimum you should do an advanced search of 116718 in the "For sale-Rolex Watches" forum to see what TRF sellers have been asking for BNIB.

That will give you an indication of what you might be willing to pay an AD.

Sure only natural, that's why if you can't go thru an AD then take your time and get comfortable with a few trusted sellers here with plenty of PMs etc. You will find half the members here now only buy from sellers here, never an AD, and if you ever got a fake somehow from them, you could return it with no problems asap as they have a huge reputation to protect here. When you see their sales volume from this forum you will see trf gives you a fair bit of protection.

I've been having the same dilemma, except I already own a TT GMT II and have owned a TT Sub in the past and went for the YG Sub.

At the end it came down to blue vs black dial.

You should be able to get it in the $24K range. YG GMT is a very beautiful piece! Good luck!
