My problem is that I don't think my health insurance covers the antidote to this particular strain of Rolex fever!
As far as people refer to "grails," this would be it for me. Fantastic watches everyone. |

I think it's really a matter of being around the WG versions enough to familiarize oneself with the metal, its coloration, the way it catches light, etc. - Once you have processed their clear differences SS and WG never look the same again. |

Amazing pics, guys...this thread may end up costing me quite a bit of money:) The 116619LB has been on my radar for quite a while. 2014 may finally be the year that I pull the trigger.

It's the image size that slows it. That looks a lot like part of Mike's collection, except there's one thing different that I can't quite put my finger on..... |

Amazing pic, Q! I took the liberty of removing all the dust so the watch can really shine! It is perhaps one of the best pics I have seen of the 116619.

Agreed, Cru...it may be the one Sub that could get the LV off my wrist for a bit:)

Thanks! I was thinking of doing the same in Photoshop, but you don't really notice the particles on Instagram.

Thee best pictures I've seen of this watch. Those up-close 3D shots are good for seeing the watch's details and reading Rolex's famous dial credentials paragraph but do nothing to showcase what the watch looks like in day to day reality, what one really sees looking down.....
And wow, what a view it is. You can also see the difference in white gold vs ss, and that blue, stunning. There's a reason why this is my grail. You are a fortunate bunch, thanks to all who posted, can never see to much of this watch. |
