I don't like trading two for one but for a Daytona I would.

Thanks, I'm not big into the zenith purely because it isn't an in house rolex movement, but I love the white dial zenith with black sub dials

Well I have a Navitimer, DSSD and YMII and I thought about a Daytona SS, but when I tired it on it didn't have much weight and the bezel did not appeal. It didn't look that good next to the Navitimer - personal view as the Navitimer is highly polished and lots of detail in dial and bezel. However, the choc' brown one with leather strap would be different.

In a blink of an eye I would do this trade. The Monbrillant Datora and PAM 050 just don't do it for me. Now there's nothing much to write home about the SS Daytona either but it's still is a highly desirable watch compared to the other two.

Trading two great watches for one fantastic watch is ALWAYS the right choice. You only wear one at a time, keeping a bunch of unworn watches collecting dust doesn't make sense to me.

Sounds like you missed the Daytona, so you've done the right thing.

You have made the right decision. You must be thrilled to have unloaded that panerai. Congrats!

I love the Daytona...and bought the white dial SS model last year. As you say, an outstanding watch.

I prefer to avoid flipping watches...but sometimes it's necessary. I'm leery, though, of flipper's remorse...which is often expressed here on TRF!

If there is no urgency, may I suggest you wear your Breitling for a week, everyday. Then do the same with the Panerai. At the end of those two weeks, look them over and think about it. Make sure they truly no longer hold your interest. They are both fine and distinctive pieces. If you're going to sell them, just make sure you're over them!

If you have any reservations (and the fact that you asked our opinion suggests there may be), DON'T do it, at least not now. There are other ways to get into a Daytona again...
