thats the thing. i read that a few times on the internet, but to me, it looks better in photos than in person. for me, its an internet hype watch.

Personally I would go Sub C. While the green would be cool as an occasional watch, I feel I would get tired of it on a daily basis.

I'm considering the Hulk as my third Sub. I will not buy a watch with a different clasp and there's no other way to go since Gold is out of my range and I cant convince my wife that TT is nice.

They are both nice...not sitting on any fence here I mean it...the only model I really don't like is the blnr...but either of these are very classy.

Would like to see a TT green sub w/NoDate.

Darker green with less-shiny dial.

Anyone who doesn't fall in love with the 116610LV, hasn't had it on their wrist!!!
It's gorgeous. It's rarely all " green" !!! It is mutable on the color spectrum like nothing I've ever seen.
It can make me take off my YG GMT!! No small feat!! Pix to follow

Dont do it. The green is fun for something different, butif this is going to benan everyday watch to mark an occassion, go with the traditional.

Hulk C - everyone has a Sub C plus the dial on the Hulk is beautiful although I would rather have a 16610 LV over either of them because it has just enough Green and you can easily change the bezel to Black therefore getting the best of both worlds.

Yeah and I only posted that because I think the Hulk is just about the best photographed watch on this forum.

I don't get why so many say that the Hulk will match your clothes less, when I hardly ever wear black. My LN matches my death metal t-shirts quite well, but not much else. Nothing from J.Crew comes in black, so a green Sub might suite me better. What am I waiting for? ...

I vote (and did with my wallet) for the Black as it's just a pure beauty. The ceramic bezel has a lot to do with why I love it! I'm not so sure about a suit, tie, and a sub, but some do it and if you would like to, I would vote black for that reason as well.
