I have been thinking about this same thing every since I saw the pictures of the new SD. I have a brand new Sub-C and I have not handled the new SD yet, but the pictures looks so similar to me that I don't know what I will do after I get the call from my AD and handle them both side by side. You are the third person that I have heard of passing on the New SDc because of that reason.

Love it. I will be joining you soon, before they discontinue. And they go all 16600 on us.
And my ad has one in stock and said he will be very close the best BNIB deal I could find on forum. And he is out of state, so no tax. |

Congratulations Patrick on buying a Rolex marvel. They are an incredible watch. Glad you removed the diver's extension. Welcome to the DSSD club!

Awesome!
I think it's a good choice with you owning the Sub-C already. I would find it hard for my Sub C to co-exist with the SD, the DSSD is a different level completely. |

Picked up DSSD today.....
Thanks again everyone, for sharing in my enthusiasm for the DSSD.
A bit tricky to take pics because of the dome crystal.... This watch wears differently compared to the 6 digit subs, the Ti portion of the caseback holds it nicely on the wrist once adequate clasp adjustment is done for my 7.5" wrist. I will be wearing this one for a stretch to see how it fits into my daily activities. On a sidenote, the DSSD's coronet on the crown lines up properly when the crown is finger-tightened, first time for me. Thanks again fellas! |

Gorgeous watch, congrats. That last pic is killer. Something about the Deepsea, very hard to photograph.

Congrats; looks good.
While I don't wear mine with tightly cuffed dress shirts, removing the divers extension link, that i will never use anyway, made a difference in comfort.
