Thanks Ken. Yes that is exactly what went through my mind when the jumbo arrived yesterday as I never had a chance to see the 40th anniversary 15202 in person before (only all the enabling photos here at TRF), and that it is the perfect RO (for me).

Thanks Ben! Your pics of your stunning 15305 didn't make the choice easy! But there was just something about the jumbo that I gravitated to.

Congrats! Your photos did the jumbo justice
Too bad that beautiful ROC has to go otherwise they would make a formidable pair of ROs for any occasion.
Enjoy your new watch to the fullest!

Thanks Wayne, yes it's too bad I wasn't able to keep the ROC but I'm sure it'll find a great home. I always thought I wouldn't want both a RO and ROC together since there are similarities, but now I understand the differences and I definitely will miss the ROC in my collection.

If I were you, I'd keep the Panda:) Yes the Jumbo is a historical throwback with a classic movement, but the Panda is just my cup of tea

Congrats!

Thanks, I enjoyed the Panda ROC and no regrets purchasing it, and also no regrets selling it to fund the 15202. I fell in love with the 15202 the moment it was announced in 2012, and knew that at some point in time I would hope to be able to acquire it.

Took more than 2 years to do it, but when the Jumbo arrived and I had it on my wrist it just felt right. Would have loved to be able to keep both watches, but if I had to choose one, it would definitely be the Jumbo for me.

My first AP is the Panda ROC and also my last addition, which was over 2 years ago. I had enjoyed the ROC tremendously but unfortunately I had to sell it to fund this new piece. I will really miss my Panda ROC, but the new AP is absolutely stunning and exceeds what I had imagined it to be.

I had been dreaming of it since it was first released the month after my son was born, and I have now finally acquired it. Big thanks to the trusted seller on TRF for making this happen.

If you have read this far....I am assuming you are wondering where the photos are

The mandatory FedEx box pic

I love the new green boxes from AP!!

My new 15202 Jumbo!

Wrist shot

I think my other watches will have to take a back seat for a while

And a tribute to my ROC (that the Jumbo replaced):
Awesome! Congrats James!

James I've got to say you must have unbelievable patience. Two years since your last incoming has got to be a record from what I see here on TRF! Two months hurts me!
