So what you are actually trying to say here is that showing off with your whitegold $$$ Sub-hammer to the pathetic SS scum is pretty important for you??

I have a SS blue Submariner and love it. Sourced original parts and had them switch it from black.
The WG version is cool too, but I don't get the idea of having a diver's watch in white gold

in a way they did make this back in the day, just didn't have Rolex written on ituploadfromtaptalk1403380784390.jpg
would love it in ss but would definitely take exclusivity from WG, no way it happens.... How about platinum with white dial white bezel or red dial red bezel?? Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk |

If someone likes gold and they also like diving/swimming/the beach then where is the problem with a gold sub? Even if they hated the water but liked the look of the gold sub would it make more sense to buy a GMT or DD in gold because they were more "appropriate" even tho you didn't like the look of them? Now that is something I would never get the idea of.

Can't see that happening. Again, the demand for the WG would be wiped out.

I'd want one, of course!
And I think they'd sell both WG and SS of the Blue…they've done that before, haven't they? S. j |

Option D for me too - I'd love a SS blue Sub.

The blue would be nice in stainless steel but the black would still be first choice.

I think it's only special because it's WG. for 25 grand, you get a lot of watch. If it were SS and WG, I would loose all interest.
