I think a WG DDII would be an epic daily watch, just make sure you post pics once you've got it! :-)

I think it would be a bit depressing to spend that kind of money and not wear the watch on a regular basis.

Great daily as it'll attract far less attention from non-WIS people!

Sure though it probably depends on your day job. Not sure i would use it for construction work - unless you don't care about scratches.

Or get the DDII (white) and keep them both ??? Is there that much of a difference between the DDII (white with white face) and a Daytona SS (white face) ???

Yes. - absolutely. I just tried this in at a shop and considering to make it my everyday watch. Class, expensive yet subtle unlike YG.

Dd2 Wg fluted is far too much bling for me as a daily watch with my job especially. However, this is highly subjective and if you wear a suit to work and not scrubs you are probably ok .

Old thread but I'd say PM watches are a thing of beauty and not cheap either, so I think they should try to be preserved as such as much as possible so having an SS watch for the hard yards is always a good idea I think.

I still think the sport models make much better daily wearers, but that's just me. I have a SS DJII fluted which I love, but I think it works best with dress clothes. I've worn it with shorts a couple times but I just don't think it works as well as sport watches. Because of this I picked up a GMT-Master 2004 Coke model which is just perfect for casual dress, particularly with the brushed center links. It doesn't show scratches as much and doesn't have the bling factor of the dress watches. I wear it to the beach, on the boat, out to football games, etc and it never feels out of place. I'm not sure I could say that about my DJII. Just one guy's opinion.

can a white gold - day-date be used as a daily watch ???

Yes, anything is possible. However, as mentioned all depends on lifestyles I think a DD and a Daytona is an awesome combo.

I've been wearing my RG DD40 everyday since I got it, except for a weekend bachelor party I went to in which I left it home for obvious reasons.

Anyway, point being, I am perfectly comfortable wearing my RG DD40 every day, and IMO WG is much more versatile!

No pic Seth!?
