Sorry for your loss. When my Dad passed away I wore the gold Hamilton tank he received when he graduated from college. I also wear it on father's day. When my mom passed away lat fall I wore the same watch because dad wore it at their wedding. I think it's natural to do things like this at times like that. PS, wear the Bulova.

My condolences on the loss of your Great Grandmother. I think I would wear the Bulova since it seems to have the closest ties to your family.

In this circumstance, there is only one choice!

I am sorry for your loss and no one can take away the memories you have of your great grandmother.

Condolences to you and your family, I would also give this a lot of thought, I think for my self I would pick the Bulova, I would probably also make time to change watches during the day, if she encouraged your collection she would be honored that you wore them all in tribute.

If your Grandmother gave you the Bulova I think wearing it would be a great way to honor her memory.

My question for you fine TRFs is what watch should I wear?
1. Rolex DSSD
2. IWC big pilot 5004
3. Limited edition Bulova Conqueror (199 pcs) given to me by my grandma for my 16th birthday.

The Bulova is the dressiest of all 3, but I prefer not to wear it to keep it in mint condition.
I am leaning most towards the Big Pilot.
Thank you all for the help!
Great grandmother thats passed away but it was his grandma that gave him the Bulova so everyone going for the Bulova ??

My condolence but the OP's question is rather odd since it is a funeral. How about a vintage pocket watch?

Wear some thing small, discreet, and on a leather strap.

If you don't own such a watch, there are very many available for next to nothing that would more than suffice for a funeral.

A funeral isn't a time to wear flashy stuff.

Something like these would be appropriate.

Best not to wear one... I don't think it's something you need to be concerned about given the occasion ....

Very sorry for you loss. Odd topic for a thread. At a time like this who cares what's on your wrist? If watches are a way for you to deal with difficult situations then I can understand but still an odd thread.

Sorry about your loss but not wearing the Bulova to preserve it's condition sounds a bit extreme - this is your grandmother after all.....

My condolences on your loss. I would wear the Bulova as an homage to your great grandmother. She would want you to wear it and enjoy the watch.

Sorry for your loss.

I would undoubtedly wear the bulova. Preserving it??? For what? This is the second best time to wear it, following any time spent with great grandma while she was with us.

Been in your shoes before, wore a breitling great gram helped me buy and even gave the eulogy at 20. Celebrate her life, it's the best therapy.

Why are you concerned with the choice of your watch, when going to your grandmothers funeral..

It is not that unusual to think about what to wear for an important event, even a funeral. One chooses with care because it mirrors the love and care they had for that person. I would be more worried if someone created a post to bitch about having to wear a suit or talk to lousy relatives instead of focusing on their loved one. The Bulova would be my choice.

Bulova seems the right family thing as there is sentimental value involved. Sorry for your loss.
