Just because he was in a Bentley doesn't mean it was his. And the odds that Rolex would let one of these special experimental watches be worn by some dink who would wear it in a bar is remote at best. The "guy owned me money" is freakin' hilarious." Yeah, he owed him money yet was somehow able to snag one of the Challenge watches and then give it away, even though I would assume it is Rolex property that will more likely be in a museum somewhere, or displayed at special events. Please.

I've seen plenty of DSSD's and subs etc...
I guess it's a replica

I said to my wife while at the bar I thought it was fake, but she gave me the same "well he's in a Bentley and you can't fake that" so I gave him the benefit of the doubt (also didn't know if he was a member here and didn't want to insult). The guy wasn't very nice and didn't seem too into watches either (dropped a couple comments that he has other watches) but he didn't say anything about my sub either.
In the end I completely agree with you guys, it's fake and he's probably just trying to draw even more attention to himself, as if the blacked out drop top Bentley and half age arm candy wasn't enough.
Man, I'm glad he's not a member here... Just wasn't a nice guy at all...
Thanks for all your comments and hope you all have great weekends!

I should add, we're going back to the restaurant tonight for drinks and dinner (wife had her first and only hole in one yesterday) to celebrate. Hopefully we don't run into him again, but if we do. I'll take some pics for entertainment purposes

Who goes into such detail to a complete stranger at a bar??

Sounds like BS on his part
