Wow , you did the math to suggest Im not telling the truth. Well I am. I wear this watch every single day as my daily beater. It has never been polished. I clean it thoroughly every weekend. It does have some hairline scratches inevitably but thats it.

I said was being facetious, and was just unable to fathom what "daily life" could result in a full gold watch with nary a blemish anywhere.

I guess you've been wearing it daily for 25 years not 10. That makes it even more incredible.

I have a full gold sub, and it had more hairlines on the PCLs in week 1 than yours has after 9,125 days of wear. I'm honestly interested in how you're able to wear a watch for 25 years, never service it, never polish it, and it looks brand new.

It looks more like a scratch than a crack, isn't the bezel markers made from stainless steel with PVD platinum coating?
In any even it's still in great shape, and sounds like you are getting the most out of your GMT. Wear it in good health!

Guys, despite how it looks I take great care of this watch. I've seen people put a wristband on before typing to breaking out scotch tape (nothing wrong with either method). I did purchase the watch used so it did have some dings. Like another member said I do have a job in sales and am so busy with my work that I don't have time (no pun intended) to worry about the watch when typing or walking. I do love this watch and want to keep it in nice condition. I took more pics of the watch earlier.

Franzy, don't let some people overvaluing or obsessing about their watches make you feel bad. You've had a lot of enjoyment, with more to come, from your GMT. I doubt your joy would be more if you obsessed over it to preserve resale value or whatever others' motivation might be. You bought it; wear and continue to enjoy!
