Easy choice for me unless I am traveling. I am surprised by the number who don't like it.

with the 6 at the top...which is where mine usually is when home to remind me what time it is for the guy on my team in Switzerland. Yes, I can do math in my head and often do, but...why not?

I'm OCD so I need the 24 marker on top lining up with the 12 marker. Unless I'm traveling and using the GMT function.

Yup. When I travel I just spin the bezel to indicate local time on the gmt hand. I don't like fussing with the movement and this is easier anyway. When abroad I like to have my local home time on the watch hands. The blue for day black for night of this bezel is a very nice feature when using the bezel this way. Definitely the way it should have been from the beginning and the perfection of the GMT bezel in my opinion. When not needing local time abroad it goes back to 24 hour mark at the top so I can read GMT for work.

Another informative Rolex thread isn't it? LOL. Where are you at in Switzerland, Vincent? I spent several days in Zurich at the front end and back end of a recent trip to the Swiss and Italian Alps. Zurich is a great city!

Heck, just remove all the hands and make your watches into really cool bracelets.

That would be the ultimate in cool--a man who appreciates exquisite mechanisms, but has not need for the time of day.

Black over blue, represents the horizon at daybreak and nightfall.
