Depending on the scenario, if it's the one and only, I'll get the Sub, "date/ no date", doesn't matter. If it's just adding to the collection then any rolex at 6k wouldn't be wrong.

I'd put it towards a minty Sub 16610.

what will you buy ?

1803 YG president on a leather strap with pie pan dial. The number of historical figures who had the same thing I'd would have on my wrist boggles the mind.

Explorer II

No doubt. New model Explorer II, polar dial, used, preferably unworn. Already on my radar. Just as soon as the funds pile up. May need closer to 7K though I'm afraid.

what will you buy ?

Depends on each lifestyle, but if I had 6K to spend on watches. I would buy 2 preowned Rolexes, a SS Datejust 36mm since I work on a suit everyday and an Explorer 2 40mm for weekends casual wear.

The nicest used sub I could find, assuming I did not already have one.

I'd consider the new blue dial Milgauss (116400GV) - that watch is really growing on me as a future purchase!
