I wouldn't worry about resale. They'll both even out in a couple years. The 5205R trades for a little more at the moment because it's brand new and harder to get it, but as availability increases they should equal out. I sold the 5205R because it lacked the contrast I wanted and doesn't appeal to me in sunlight. I'm also 30 years old and the watch felt a little grandpa-ish to me, whereas the 5205G has a sportier, more balanced dial, in my opinion.

I wish I had taken a photo to share, but I did get to see a 5074P at Tiffany in Beverly Hills last weekend that was waiting to get picked up by a client. Absolutely breathtaking watch, even through all of the packaging.
