That is not an opinion, it is a fact.

Anyone can manipulate a picture, but, wearing the watch out of the showroom is the only way that anyone can tell what it really looks like.

Um, does it not shine. That's what bling is to me. Note, I've owned many, so - yeah, I get it. Less, shine as minute ticks give less surface area to reflect.

Note, I've got blnr and hulk so I like them too.

I tried it on and I can understand why people love it. My biggest problem is the thickness. I have a Breitling that is pretty thick, and that is enough for me not to wear it sometimes.

If lugs heads back to previous generation's symmetry and pricing $1-1.5K lower, SDC will be flying off the shelves in my opinion. I know, biased and wishful thinking ha ha!!

I think the bezel is fine. Exactly what it needs to be for the purpose it was built

My favorite currenty produced rolex. Owned one for less than a week solely due to the fact that I have a 16600 that I am emotionally attached to and I found the two too similar. I like this version better and if I wasn't attached to my original I would have stuck with the new one.

In the current diver line up I found the dssd too big and I can't stand the cyclops of the sub date. I also need a date or else I would really consider the Submariner.

The bezel is a funny thing for me. I love the SubC bezel, I think its perfect. I also love the DSSD bezel with all the hash marks. The SD however is too small for all the hashmarks IMHO.

Its always the bezel for me. The old style GMT bezel is more up my ally with the smaller numbers as apposed to the Ceramic bezel on the new GMT's with the huge numbers...turn off for me.

But having said all that I think its great that Rolex gives us so many options....To each his own!

I've owned a few sub dates over the years including the Sub C (albeit shortlived) and although I loved all of them, I wanted something a bit more rare out in the wild. I find the SD4000 is the perfect modern Rolex for me. Love the new shape and the matte dial. The bezel feels more balanced to me and the raised crystal is just awesome in my opinion.
