I like both. I choose the champagne with the sticks. I think it looks sharp. The only dial I would put romans with is the White dial. Mine is white dial & silver romans. Tons of black dials to choose from across the entire line, but not a lot of white or champagne dials without having to go all gold. Buy the champagne one for the DJ II & leave yourself open to buying a black dial watch for the next one. If you have a next one. :-)

If you're set on getting a TT DJII, how about the slate dial with green numerals?

I voted with my wallet. The TT DJ II with gold roman numerals on a black dial is my watch and I love it!

Of those two I would choose the champagne dial. That is easy to read because of its wide index.

Of the two, black dial Roman numerals.

Romans for me, although I like the slate with green Romans better than either of these.

Between those choices it's stick dial for me. The Lume is great in low lighting.

I don't normally like TT, at all, but that champagne dial is magnificent.

I love good lumes on watches; the Champagne is perfect as it gets for a DJ (II).

When I was a kid you were either a Ford Man or a Chevy Man. That is sort of how it is with stick and roman. The simplicity of the stick or the design of the roman. I think I am a roman man

both super nice.
not sure if it is an option, but for TT, my all time favorite is the slate dial with green numerals. that thing is stunning.

Champagne Dial
I vote for the champagne dial. Classic! I think you also said you have a sub c which has a black face so I would go for the champagne with sticks for variety. As mentioned if you are over 45 it would be most appropriate, and if not its still ok and will definitely grow with you as you age.

I came in here thinking of course I would vote for sticks, as I usually prefer those. But somehow with the TT, and the fluted bezel... somehow the stick seem too casual and the romans seem to be more classy.

Its a hard debate/choice for me.
I think stick dial is a little to casual but something about the gold face calls to me. The roman numerals is classy and has a pop. I already have a sub c with the circles for the numbers, which would be similar to the stick dial. Im 32 :) When i tried both on, i felt the stick dial flowed with my wedding band(gold). Still in debate.... Thanks for everyones comments. Keep them coming!!!! |
