I asked Santa for a Barichello RB2, it seems he is delivering. Hopefully a Rolex gets thrown in there as well.

As for the wife, she requested specifically no Rolex watches this year.

I always told my wife that watches are too personal of a choice, so I have to always pick mine out myself.

This is especially important since she cares nothing for watches, and knows nothing about watches, and she doesn't believe in expensive watches. She's not into anything material, preferring to travel rather than spend money on things.

So, Santa brought me my polar explorer II a month early, and she gets to go to the Bahamas next May...

Christmas has nothing to do with Rolexes.
MONEY has everything to do with them.

Kids...

Technically, he did since Eartha Kitt asked for a car and not a Rolex.

I got one and gave a couple away last X-MAS, and everyone involved loved it.
This year, I'm trying to go for some gold, hopefully Santa will stop by.

My wife felt the same way this year, so we just got back from our "X-mas" travel trip today, so we could technically be with the extended family on the 25th. But I must tell you, for what I spent on our trip, I could have purchased a Rolex. " But the memories we made will last forever " and that's worth every penny.

Would love one for Christmas, but won't be a possibility.

Fingers crossed for pulling the trigger on Rolex #2 in summer 2015 though!

Just remember, jewelry stores make as much money in the four weeks before Christmas, as they do for the previous eleven; less true discounting due to demand and volume.

We don't celebrate Christmas, so there's no chance I will get one for that holiday. And since I do all the high end watch buying in our family, I know no one will get another Rolex at this time of the year.

My wife got me a 16613 one year...but I don't see a new watch happening this year, too many things she want to do the house!
