Nice story Boyo, glad you posted. It puts a number of threads that appear here in real life perspective I think.
My dad was also a WW2 vet, joined up when he was 20 in '39 and served throughout, he died two years ago aged 92. I was lucky to have the years with him others don't have that time. |
