Whats a rule of thumb amplitude threshold for servicing? I bought a time grapher, it is a cool gadget. I was pleased to see that my watch was running within 1s/d.

Mine was only about +3 seconds when I had it serviced... although it went over 10 years before I had it serviced. I didn't really wait for a specific inaccuracy. It was more about when I could make time to travel into NYC to RSC to drop it off. I don't work in the city anymore so I don't travel in very often.

Your watch just told you it had a pain. Take it in and get it serviced before it
really gets sick! I am not talking about the seconds, that would bother me, the hour hand would really worry me!
