Maybe lack of use (not keeping it on a winder now and then) and wearing the quartz instead most of the time may have contributed to the issues. I wore a Tudor Snowflake for years doing heavy industrial work and its the only watch that outlasted my IronMan and other daily wearers that I bought just for work.
