Congratulations man. The SS Daytona with white face is definitely my grail watch. I would get that in a heartbeat if I had the chance. The 3 ADs I spoke to here said there is no waiting list, but management makes the decision on who gets the call for the watch. I guess it's for all the big rollers. I guess my only recourse is to buy it off the gray market or be lucky enough like you while I'm travelling on the mainland. Again, good find and luck for you.

FYI: I don't know if you have a Reed's Jewelers on Island but the manager at the branch here locally told me they have a couple SS Daytona's at their Corp. office waiting for buyers. He's a straight shooter & a WIS & he doesn't BS me so if he says they have them then they probably do (or atleast did). I had this conversation with him 2 days ago. I'm not sure what their policy is regarding who they will sell to but it might be worth contacting them if you have a Reed's nearby.

I attempted to take some decent pics today but none really turned out well. Biggest issue was trying to not show up in the reflection off of the SS.
