Wish I posted a poll (don't think you can on Tapatalk). But from what I counted so far, seems 15 for Patek and 9 for AP.
Such a tough decision. Sent from my 16M |

its down to a battle between 5712 and 15305. i would personally go for 15305, but problem with 15305 is that it isn ot safe for driving. you would be staring at the watch when your hands are on the steering wheels instead of concentrating on the road. it is absolutely stunning.

I'd go with the AP...the Skeleton is awesome IMO.

Rose Gold: AP 15305OR or PP 5712R or 5711J
So I had the chance to try on the 5712R at the Tourneau in the Forum at Caesars in Vegas....quite stunning! I was surprised at how thin the watch was. I also tried on the 5726 AC and was amazed at how the bracelet felt.
I will be going to an AP boutique tomorrow at Crystal City and hopefully they have a 15305OR to try on. Sent from my 16M |

I'd go for the AP
I love PP as a brand and aspire to own one someday. However, I would not choose these 2 particular models. The AP on the other hand is truly spectacular. The skeleton dial is gorgeous. Good luck

Good luck deciding, it's really apples and oranges imo and no wrong answer.

The 5712 easily wins this thread. It is the perfect Nautilus, in my opinion. Now if we are considering the 5711R, then that would become the top choice.

Skeleton is a good choice. 5712R was also solid!

Rose Gold: AP 15305OR or PP 5712R or 5711J
Haha, if you are on an iPhone using Tapatalk, there is a small icon that looks like a mountain - this serves as the attachment icon for photos. I haven't surfed on a computer for a while. Did you get it in SS or RG? Sent from my 16M |

Rose Gold: AP 15305OR or PP 5712R or 5711J
Right before catching my flight out, I had 15 min to run to the AP boutique in Crystal City. I asked the sales lady if she had a 15305OR and of course she did not.
So I tried on a similar dual time 39mm to see how it felt. I would say not as comfortable as my VC Overseas on strap - probably due to the longer lugs on the AP and the strap wasn't broken in yet. Then.....a pleasant surprise - she said she had a preordered 15305OR in the back that a customer had already bought. "Can I take a look?" Even through the plastic, this watch was a stunner!!!! for the OP 5712 all the way, have it in SS and love it, you talked about the 5726 also, have it too and it's also a great watch, I like sports watches with moon phase and AC, by the way very cool collection, love the JLC duo |

Actually the 5712 fit extremely well. I'm about a 6'1/4" and the rose gold with leather strap fit nice. If you were referring to the 5726 SS, the bracelet was just loose. But I was most impressed by the bracelet feel. It felt silky smooth and comfortable on my wrist - best bracelet I have ever tried on, better than AP, VC or JLC. At this point I am leaning towards the AP it is such a statement watch with mesmerizing artistry. Perhaps later I will get a Nautilus on SS bracelet - either the 5712 or 5726. I've always liked the 5712. Sent from my 16M |

Glad you have gone with the skeleton it is the most different (look forward to the incoming), I like Nautilus but as a traditional SS watch Blue dial.
That all gold one with the rusty brown dial does look tasty if you like all gold, it might be nice on leather.
