Aloha Folks! Firstly, I'm really new to this forum. A bit of background, I've always admired Rolex timepieces but couldn't afford one. Knowing this, my former fiancé back in 1998 surprised me with a brand new Tiger Tudor Chrono on a trip to Vegas. I was sooo stoked! It was my very first expensive watch(relatively speaking since I wore mainly Casio, Seiko, Tag) and I wore it daily with great pride for many, many years. I enjoyed looking at the red second hand against the opaline dial and the date complication on a Chrono was really cool too. Most of all the I liked the cyclops, which I associated with the Rolex brand. What's the term? Ballin' on a Budget? lol! Unfortunately, I never quite made it down the aisle and for the last 10 years or so my Tiger was caged up in its box. Fast forward to 2015. I discovered TRF and Rolex bug bit me in butt, big time! You guys are the greatest! Now, I never thought about flipping my Tiger bc it held a lot sentimental value. However after shadow boxing for many weeks I finally decided to pull the trigger and turned my Tiger + cash to purchase a 2007 GMT MASTER II Z series Coke with sticks. I hope to eventually work toward owning a Dayonta someday, but for now I couldn't be happier with my GMT. Hopefully I won't regret the flip!
