Undecided...I will need to see it person. The Ranger is much nicer in person, so I wont judge until I can feel it.

Looks like they used the mold from the quartz Rolex.

Like the movement; maybe the yellow would grow on me; but the proprietary leather strap kills it for me.

I want to like the North Flag... I really do. But it pushes no buttons for me (not even the 'yawn' button). The only Tudors I've ever like are the original 'Ranger' &, especially, the 'Heritage Ranger' (which, from my limited experience, is even better than the Rolex Explorers).

I sort of like it, but some details I don't like.

Let's hear your comments....

So I wonder if this piece has replaced the Heritage Ranger...

No. Ranger has only been in stores for less than a year, and is a big seller. OP, just click 'Collection', then the photo of the dog sled.

Out of all the Tudor watches, I like this one the most.

I have owned a few Tudors....but this one doesn't work for me. The lugs really turn me off, and I am not wild about the dial. Different strokes, and all.

Movement and integrated bracelets looks good, but the proprietary lug connection is bad news for 3rd party straps. I wish it was a couple of millimeters smaller.

Hey guys. Just getting back to this.

I think that if the yellow was baby blue (Ala 70's Omega) it would be a snappier combo. Maybe they will go and add other colors in the future. [side note: the olive green chrono is sorta cool but I wish there was paint in the bezel to give some legibility to it]

But I read/hear all the negative comments and understand where you are coming from. A few odd bits about it (lugs being one) but in reality, I prefer to have the original bracelet on my watches pretty much all the time. Yes, the NATO option is good for cheap fun, but really if I had this I'd have the leather and the steel bracelet and swap those back and forth.

Found all the other wacthes by the way. Odd website actually...

And I do see the Ranger II lineage, and agree they should have gone thot route.

Power reserve is fun on the back side, especially with a glass back. Didn't they say this was a tool watch? Whay the glass bck on a tool watch? That was the end of the Planet Ocean as a serious tool watch for me- when they went to the glass back... I prefer my old aluminum bezel/solid back one thanks!

A tool watch like this that does not accept a simple and standard NATO strap is a fail IMHO.

From the Tudor website: “The soul of the Tudor North Flag belongs to the coldest and most remote extremities of the planet.”

Not a good line of thinking for a watch with a fixed steel bracelet. But then pretty much all of Tudor's advertising and promotional copy is poorly written hyperbole. (I like Tudor despite their poor choice of ad agency, of course).

The Ranger is similarly promoted as an arctic-weather watch, but at least it comes with a bund option and easily removable steel bracelet.

To me, the aesthetics whisper, "I had a Seiko Kinetic, wanted a Panerai, and bought this Tudor."

I guess I am alone here, I like it. Comfortable size, Very Readable, Date, Tudor Build Quality, In-House movement and under 4K. My only complaint is the yellow, Orange would of been better. I think it looks best on bracelet.

I should also mention, I feel its a proper tool watch, no shiny bits, or glossy ceramics to shout out.

I like Tudor North Flag but also accept the fact it looks better on young guy's wrist.. around 16 to 24 yrs. It doesnt' look like a man's watch; more like youngers/kids watch design.

I just sold a Tudor (Monarch) and this gets me going again. Coincidentally I am looking at a watch, sporty and on leather strap, no crocodile strap with a little complication (power reserve; good). This just hit me demographically.

Really nice in the metal. I attended to the presentation last week in Madrid. Great new models:
