Why trade? Keep the GMT and get the 5711. Both watches will fit nicely in any collection and they serve different purposes.

No. I have done several and have not looked back. My new WG Pepsi was used as a partial trade for my TT 5980. Many would seem that was a crazy move but I love the PP.
