Nice watches, guys...some real drool-worthy pieces, to be sure. Not really my style, though...way too classy.

to me it looked like Rolex was trying to look like Patek with the celeni line.
they should stick to what the do best; great sport/tool watches.

I got an Explorer II, and I think other sporty Rolex just more or less has the same feeling, so I definitely need a dress watch that has some trait of sportness in it.
Beautiful watch. Congrats.

I love the new Cellinis. But for me, when I dream of owning a beautiful dress watch, that dream is always a Lange 1.

It is a beautiful watch, perfect, modern and elegant 39mm, and de details are amazing. Someone said that maybe Cellini are trying to compete with PP... But for a ⅓ of de PP price Cellini is the way.

Every single detail on this watch is amazing... No my fav Rolex, and not for casual wearing, IMO, but if you like a modern dress watch, this is the one. Absolutely Lovely!!

Cellini is in same price league as a Patek which I think is why not many are seen here on a WIS forum

I think people who buy them do not know about Patek and just want a Rolex dress watch

They are great looking watches though and can get some at good prices used

Well said. Your comment proves that we should buy what we want and not worry about what others think. If the Cellini works for you, then why not pick one up? Congrats on a fine looking timepiece.

I've had the new RG Cellini Date since February and love it. It is a great dress watch and a nice change from my daily wear GMT II. Great watch.

I saw a Cellini in the AD at Harrods in London - immediately I could tell that despite its good looks, underneath it was trying to be something it is not (a PP)
