Resolution

Bob's is issuing a full refund--no apology, just "we'll send you a shipping label." Not looking for gushing remorse, but a "hey, sorry about that" would have been a bit better customer service. Not an overwhelmingly positive experience with Bob's, for sure, but at least I'm not out any cash. The search continues.....

Anyone have a 176200 black face with blue markers??

Thanks again for all of the feedback and help--this forum and its members are absolutely terrific.

Maybe you just need to replace the springbars. If their diameter is too small it can rise to this situation.

I would ask an AD's watchmaker to have a look at it.
It's either this ^.....

Or my first look at your pics, I thought it was a replica....I might be wrong, but that case, dial and bezel look off to me

I don't own one, but I agree the watch looks off.
Get it checked out by a AD before sending back.

And now that you've found TrF, let your fingers walk over to the trusted seller section and enjoy a much better experience

Any one of the big name sellers here can source that watch for you. All you have to do is contact them and say what you want. They all aim to please.
