Yeah, I'm really glad to learn about Chonger on this forum. Great to have a local watchmaker who knows how to handle a vintage and with a Rolex parts account. Great guy, he really spent time go over the details with me: bushings needed replacing, gears not perfectly level, etc...

Yep, the wait was a bit tough. I had to get used to leathers and NATOs for a while. ;) I'm sure yours will turn out great too!

You're right Lee, it goes both ways - and thanks. For vintage, I should've spent more time learning stuff like original dial variations, bezels, etc... Some of the stuff I still can't tell the difference. ;) Anyway, this next shot is for you:
