116719BLRO + 116618LB + 116506 = best damned land, air, sea trio one could ask for..... Of modern references that is :)

Even though I do not particularly care for Chronos, especially ones with screw down pushers, I voted for the Platona. Awesome watch. The reasoning is this, you can only wear one watch at a time anyway (practically speaking of course) and I'm starting to get consolidation fever thinking better less beats lesser more.

I love gold, so I'd chose the two gold watches option.

It's better owning two great PM pieces than one PM piece IMHO.

I think you should have 18k YG sub with blue sunburst dial and a 116515LN white face on that nice black strap.

No it doesn't make sense but that's the game we choose to play. BLRO is my favorite of the lot.

I think you really need to compare it within the context of the rest of the collection. For now I voted 2 gold, but I have a platinum DD so go figure...... I would be tempted to go BLRO and YG Daytona with Newman dial.

Platona. Go big. If this is the watch to commemorate your career achievement, it needs to be the Platona.

I was going with the Platona option until you threw the LB curve. I LOVE that piece. The two would give you a nice balance. But given your collection, and I know you said it dosen't matter but it does!, and given the more is not always better concept...Platona it is. It's a VERY special watch and you won't see that many in the wild. In other words perfect for for a guy who has the stable you do. Go for it and celebrate in style

Math has nothing to do with it...it's which one (or ones) you like that counts.

Kind of like the logic of if I wanted a BLRO more than 2 great SS pieces...does that make sense? Well, if I liked the BLRO that much it does. But not mathematically. Cause two is always more than 1 in math.

Your choices are all incredible pieces, but I choose Platona. It is such a solid piece of work, and it is elegant, sporty, and it has the perfect amount of wrist presence. The color combination is excellent. Dress it up, dress it down. It works. Your call, but remember, you can wear only one at a time, and once you put on the Platona, it is hard to take off!

It is a maths question which has no answer, this is like dividing by 0.

It comes down to which you would rather own. Personally that daytona would be my pick , but then again, you cant wrong with any of them.

I am in the same boat Mike, could easily do it, not sure if that is what I want to do just yet. Just ordered another PM to add a wild card in case.

Tough, very tough call!!!

With those specific variables, by my working out, 2 gold is the solution to this mathematical problem.

Take the 2 gold, they are both beautiful, some of the best and most beautiful Rolex has to offer complementing each other well.

Platinum is too heavy IMO and still it is vulnerable to wear.
