As much as I would LOVE to see one... It will NEVER happen. Rolex is very careful not to release the same watch in SS as their PM's.

No sir for all of the reasons mentioned. I am not sure if it is the cost of making the red on the bezel that is so expensive or what?? It cannot be the two different colors because of the blnr. If it is red that takes Coke out as well. Better hope for a Sprite or Sierra Mist SS version.

If the GMT2c Pepsi was released in SS, it would cannibalize their WG Pepsi sales, not something Rolex would do. Therefore, unlikely.

Yes, I went from a BLNR to a BLRO for this reason.

How many people in the world can spend 30k$ just to change the color of their watch ...

Happy for you if you can ...

And it would create caution for anyone ever contemplating a WG version Rolex.

Cost me half of your $30k figure above to upgrade to the BLRO

Highly unlikely after releasing the BLRO in WG, if anything Rolex should of released
the Pepsi version in SS at around 12-14k and Coke
after that, they would be selling like hotcakes but
would be hard to justify the 3-5k color scheme premium.
I personally think they would get away with it as Pepsi & Coke version
has a big fan base that got priced out in WG.

I'd like Rolex to discontinue the current blro and reissue it in SS.
.
I'd be curious as to what would happen to the value of the wg version- can't be too many of them floating around now. Would the WG model drop in price? Or become a collector's item?

Indeed, and it's hardly just a change of color. Going from SS to WG is a totally different thing as well!
