Great choice Mike. The Explorer really is a versatile watch as I'm sure you'll find out.

Good decision. Nothing against the Milgaus but that Explorer looks fantastic on your wrist Mike.

Your situation makes perfect sense to me. You can plot and plan on TRF all you want, but until you get some actual wrist time with a watch, you will not know if it's for you. I was certain the explorer was for me. 5 months later I flipped it for a Sub. No regrets. Enjoy your new watch and wear it in good health.

Congrats and a good move in my opinion. When I set foot on this forum a few years ago I was convinced that I wanted a GV milgauss. Then it was a white roman DJ. 3 Rolex and countless other watches later and I have owned neither.

Thank you all for all the congrats! After a weekend with the Explorer I can definitely say this is the watch for me. It worked effortlessly with everything. I'm so glad I made the move. I hope to add another Rolex and a Tudor down the road. But for now I couldn't be happier.

This is so true! Did you know pretty quick that the Sub was the right choice?
