If you want it go for it. Just don't beg for the sub back afterwards.

Personally I would not, as I much prefer the 16610 over the DJII. The sub is a more versatile piece anyway, in my opinion. As much as I love the two 36mm DJ models I own, the truth is they sometimes look out of place in shorts and a t-shirt when compared to the 16610.

That being said, if the Sub no longer does it for you, then make a switch. You would not have a problem getting back into a 16610 if you wanted to down the road.

If it is bling you want go with a TT sub black or blue. Blue has more pop as I'm sure you know. And if you want big bling go precious medal! A nice 16613 can be had pretty reasonable right now. With most people wanting all stainless. I would keep the sub no trade. A save up for the next piece. The only way I would get rid of my sub is for an upgrade to an all gold.

Best bet would be to save for the DJ in my opinion, unless you dont't enjoy wearing your Sub anymore.

I couldn't in good faith recommend you trade either..

Having two subs, one five and one six digit, that is exactly what I did. I love having the DJII. And feel totally satisfied having my 14060 instead of my 114060.

I love my DJII, but I agree that the subs are special....I guess it's your choice right? I do hear (on this forum) that DJIIs are in the process of being discontinued though...

Would you or would you not do this? Please give me reasons. Help me think through this y'all.

Yea keep the sub unless you trade it for a Day Date 40 :). I am in the same dilemma, I want to trade my 3 yr old sub for a Day Date 40, the Rolex Boutique is offering 9k to buy it, decisions decisions.
