Though Im hoping they offer it with ceramic bezel soon & a few more dial options. Black is also nice but need right light to really come alive and 1 gripe I have about that dial is that the sub dials dont go from to the end to end of their border the have that black gap in the outter levels making the sub dials look small from a far. Both are beautiful, in "right" light Black Dial is on RG all the way, but for a classic, consistent, stable perfect symmetrical look the Everose dial with black sub dials all the way. Hope this helps. On the other hand for YG I voted for the Black dial. Good Luck Eric |

I used to prefer black dial with champagne sub dial now I have swung the other way but I see I am well out voted on this.

The TT blue Sub was gone for a while now before I even decided to get the YG Sub. It was a hard decision, as I really loved the TT, but the YG got me in the end. |

Your feelings about the RG Daytona Alamos mirror my own, especially about the right light aspect of the black dial for the watch. As for the YG, I do believe the black dial is really starting to grow on me. |

one of the easier polls in a while...black dial without hesitation. the red accents againts the black + the contrast win it for me. in fact, if i were to ever own a YG sports watch, this would be the one. love it.

Definitely the black dial Eric. I recently purchased one from DavidSW and couldn't be happier. Amazing watch. I had never seen one in the wild and when it arrived it absolutely surpassed my expectations. As others have said the contrast with the champagne subdials is exquisite!

I would go black dial, the contrast it creates is very nice IMHO.

On the other hand, there are many other YG Daytona dials which look great in person, just not these two, IMHO. |

Black dial all the way. The black and red just pop against the YG.
Also I'm not a fan of champagne colored dials on a YG or RG watch. I think it blends in and offers no contrast.

I voted champagne dial - sad to see that 85% disagree, but I'd still choose champagne if offered both.

Both magnificent dials. Agreed w most that you need to strap it on your wrist to compare. Can't wait to see what wonders you can do w your watch/clothes combo skills.
Congrats in advance, my friend |

I like both of the dials presented and actually owned the black for awhile. My favorite though is the white face with the gold sub dials. The white really pops and goes with everything from dress to casual. Having worn a YG Daytona for more than a decade, white face, my only issue is the watch wears small. If the Daytona is ever changed and it is sized up to a true 40mm or 42mm I would be an owner again of both a PM and a SS.

I prefer the black. The contrast is appealing to me versus the champagne.

As for the YG Sub, here is the link in case you missed it. It was not even a thread that was created by me, but by another one of these enablers (Fred) on this Forum. http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=443639 |

I have seen the black dial, but not the champagne dial in person. It would be nice to be able to see both in person as I am a firm believer in seeing and trying things on in person as you and I both know that pictures often times do not provide the best representation of the finished product. On that note, I have seen and tried on nearly almost all of the dial combinations for the YG Daytona and feel that the black dial with champagne sub dials is one of the ones that appeal to me the most. The reason I would consider the champagne dial with black sub dials is the fact it is the polar opposite of the black and it has the red second hand with red indices. Don't think either of these dials were ever meant to have any type of sunburst for them. |

Thanks, Larry.
I remember seeing posts of that one on your wrist before. Did you find it hard to read at all? My experience with Daytona's is that the black dial ones, at least on SS and RG can be hard to read depending on lighting conditions when compared to the lighter coloured dials. |

Yup, that would be the next challenge for me. Don't think I can justify getting both the YG and RG, so I will have to first choose which dial works for the YG and then compare that with my RG favourite the 116505 with pink dial. The decision process is almost as much fun as the ownership of the watch.
