I like the YG better. I don't dislike the appearance of the platinum but in this particular variant, there is too much contrast between the pale blue dial and dark colored romans and hands for my taste.

I'd go gold and fluted bezel. If the PT came with a fluted bezel, it would be a much harder decision. Too much classic Rolex DNA in the flute, unless you have that base covered. That said, you can't make a mistake with either.
