Definitely would not trade. Love the 2-tone DJ, plus I really don't think that trade is all that great. I mean you are trading for a watch 16 years older then yours.

I say keep the 116233, and save for the 16750. They aren't that expensive, then you can have two :)

The retail on your Datejust is almost 11k right now, so no way would I do that deal.

I'm not a fan of that DJ dial as I think it's too busy and makes the romans difficult to see. I am also not a big fan of two tone so I would definitely make the trade. I think the ExpII is a great reference and would love to own one some day.

I definitely prefer the 16570, but just make sure you look up the going rates for both watches, and make sure you're getting a good deal. I think you can probably find a newer 16570 for not much more than your proposed trade value. Not quite sure the going rate for those DJ though.

I am getting the face changed back to the white roman dial. I came across this dial and it looked cool but i don't like it as much on the watch. That aside iv seen my datejust selling for around $6500 at worst and the explorer at around $3,500-$4,000. So the trade would be about even value wise.

I'd keep the DJ and just swap out the dial!

On the other had a more traditional dial might make the DJ a better alternative. I've done that with my 16013 and like it much better now. In general I like DJ s better that the 16570s.

If you like the DJ maybe the dial is what you don't like possibly consider swapping out the dial? DJ is worth more than the Exp. II...

Otherwise- Trade it.

I have the original white Roman dial to go with the watch. If I don't trade it I am going to swith it back. Just wanted to try something new and it just wasn't what I like. The deal for the explorer is just something that was offered to me so I figured I'd see what everyone thinks. Thanks everyone
