If you want a piece just to have it to sell it down the road then get what has the best resale. If you want a watch that you'll love wearing on a daily basis, then go w/ what will put a smile on your face every time it snaps in place.

42 black dial Exp II was my 1st Rolex - love it!
If white, I'd maybe go w/ the 40. I'm really enjoying my latest BLNR w the EXP II - been tracking UPS tonight - SubC ND arrives tomorrow!! |

I'm kind of in the same boat as you, but my hunt is for the black dial.

I wore the 40mm version for almost 20 years then sent it in for total service before giving it to one of my twin daughters....
