When I get my GMT II (in the near future, can't wait!!!), I will only take it off for bed or when I run (need the stopwatch and split functions on my running watch).

Please don't worry though, my Teddy Bear will be wearing my watch at night while I'm sleeping!!! By the way, he can't wait for the GMT either!!!

Only when I'm sleeping alone (business travel or when snoring and Mrs. Portzed boots me into the guest room).

Very handy at night I found on Monday this week.....away In London overnight and woke up for the bog in the small hours. I Involuntarily produced a fart while I was admiring the SD lume! It lasted 5 seconds which I think is quite an admirable duration.

Had I not been sporting this fine timepiece with such rugged features at that unearthly hour, I may not have been able to accurately report on the duration of this event, secondly had I have been wearing a PP or other dress piece would it have survived the event

Dwelley did well.

When I tried to wear my Rolex to bed, the wifey said: "That stupid watch or me?"

Now I sleep on the couch!!
I don't blame her....and you're only on the couch due to the lambswool seat covers!!!!!!!!

I can't wear mine to bed...too uncomfortable.

It's not fair to post such stuff when people may be sipping a drink. I laughed, my monitor didn't... but it did get a small shower.

I don't wear my watch to bed - It's a watch not a GPS.

Usually to bed alway's in the shower to wash off the grime from daily wear.

I even keep a special toothbrush and baby shampoo in the shower for it..

I always sleep with an automatic watch on my wrist. Sometimes I sleep with one on each wrist, like right now, since my watch winder is on the fritz...

Dear Kevin in Hong Kong,

Since you only take your watch off to shower, I'm thinking you last showered in the early 70s.

I am really surprised that so many take the watch off when showering. Why do they do that?? This is the time to wash the perfectly waterresistant watch with lukewarm water and soap to give it the extra shine for the day.
I take it off at night.

Used to

wear it to bed but no more.
it just seems the watch always move up toward my wrist and stays snug on my wrist and leaves a mark on my wrist.
I leave it off so I minimize wear on the bracelet.
And, to avoid banging on the bed frame. Never know what my arms do when I'm deep asleep
